libwavpack1 software package provides audio codec (lossy and lossless) - library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libwavpack1
libwavpack1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libwavpack1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libwavpack1 *
You will get with libwavpack1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
